FRIDAY'S FASHION FEAST

Set Menu:

Featuring BETTY TRAN and ATLAS PEARLS AND PERFUMES.

Have you reached that point in your life where sleep is vital and you can’t afford too many late nights? You just want to have a pleasing lunch with an element of entertainment? Well gather you girls or even your mum like I did ;), and prepare yourselves for an event that never goes out of style! This is an event that you could be attending 20 years down the track and not feel old. It’s so Sex & the City it hurts!

It probably isn’t recommended for all my high spirited gal pals in their early twenties but more for the career driven worker or mum who just needs to relax with some delectable food, a flute of champagne and some classy fashion.

Entrée:

For starters we were shown to our seats and welcomed to a fresh salad and seafood buffet. (The squid and scallops were divine).

Main:

Our barramundi came out as well as the models dressed head to toe in current Betty Tran threads and timelessly elegant Atlas Pearls. The charming and gracious models from Scene Model Management worked the room and approached each table allowing the guests to take a closer look at those striking pearls as well as the detailing of the couture collection.

Dessert:

As our orange creme brûlée and dark chocolate parfait was distributed, Betty Tran who had just flown from Vietnam Fashion Week that day addressed the crowd elucidating the message behind her clothing that we should embrace every woman’s uniqueness. She wants her garments to cater for every woman and made it clear that every woman is beautiful regardless of their race, size or age.

Shopping opportunities were presented on the day with an Atlas Pearls display, and discounts from both stores.

We also had the privilege of meeting the super talented Betty Tran.

Below are some snaps taken from her Instagram page of some her designs from Vietnam Fashion Week that we just adore!

Lastly for a bit of excitement there were a number of door prizes that could be won including a $200 Betty Tran voucher, a $300 voucher at Dr. Anh, tickets to Sexpo, tickets to Kooza, hampers, a free facial, a bottle of Piper-Heidsieck Champagne etc. To our delight my lucky mother won two tickets to the West Australian Ballet so I suppose that’s where you’ll be seeing us next before some more brunching on Mothers Day ;).

To the event I went for a more classic look with a hint of edge so I wore the timeless Love Ruler Dress by Bec & Bridge, some dramatic statement earrings by Christie Nicolaides, the on trend Savannah clutch by Jessica Bratich in gold and a pair of pink satin heels by Wittner. Nothing like a good mix of pink, gold and maroon for this autumn season!

Overall I couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon. It was a pleasant way to unwind and escape from the busyness of life.
