I have to say some guys have strong game while others not so much! With that said I noticed on Valentine’s Day that just passed a vast majority of you were absolutely clueless as to what you should get your partner, and I wouldn’t be surprised if you have the same struggles on anniversaries, birthdays and Christmas. Am I right? So I’ve come up with a guide to help you fellas out. Personalised gifts are always the best however if you’re ever stuck here are some generalised gifts to help you get lucky and keep the missus happy. As they say “Happy wife, happy life”!

6. A voucher for a day SPA. You can either purchase a facial or a massage? You know what your girl likes best ;).

I’ve personally only been to the ISIKA SPA at Crown Metropool which is incredible but there are so many other Spas located around Perth as well.

7. Flowers, Flowers and Flowers! Need I say more? Roses and Peonies are always a winner.

Sheridan Tjhung Florals and Lime Flowers are some amazing florists located in Perth however if these florists are out of your budget a nice bouquet from Coles or Woolies will do just the trick. Also if you hate buying flowers because you know that they’re just going to die in a few days @houseofforeverbloom have real roses that last a year.

8. If you’re at that stage in your life where you’re busy building your empire, paying off your mortgage or saving for the kids a cheaper gift option is some nice SCENTED CANDLES. Especially if your partner is over the age of 25 this can be a great gift.

9. Tickets to a show e.g. the latest musical showing at The Crown, a Fringe Show, some theatre at the Regal Theatre or the Ballet.

11. A romantic candlelight dinner at home! Be creative! Light some scented candles and place some rose petals on the bed (you can even get some fake ones from spotlight or online). If you can’t cook buy some nice gourmet pizza. Yes your girlfriend’s probably always saying “Oh I can’t eat unhealthy I’m getting fat” however with that said she would really enjoy a one off guilty treat. Trust me!
    

12. My last tip is SURPRISES! This can be a surprise holiday or getaway, or even some paddle boarding or jet skiing on the weekend. Another great gift that I’ve seen a guy do is create SIGNS and set them up for his girlfriend to see on her way home from work. Think Love Actually! He knew what route she took to get home and placed signs in visible spots, under the best street lighting that he could find. The cost of this = Free. Outcome = Winner.
